Basic description

removal of impacted wisdom teeth which are the most common impacted teeth which operating outpatient and under positional anesthesia in the clinic by Orthognathic surgeon. In some patients which have more impacted teeth’s or a special disease, the surgery will be done in the hospital with general anesthesia.

Method and duration:

The Surgery will start after an injection of anesthesia . After an access to an impacted teeth then it will be able to be removed and its place will be stitched. All of these will take 10 to 15 minutes and you haven’t to be worry about any pain.

Pre-surgical proceedings

You need at least a panoramic radiography (OPG) or Sometimes a CT scan of impacted teeths for more analyze of its location. You will take a painkillers before the surgery so you won’t experiencing pain after the surgery and also you will asked for wash your mouth with Mouthwash to reduce the post-surgical complications.

Post-surgical care:

-press the gaze inside your mouth for 30 minutes.

-don’t smoke for at least 24 hours.

-don’t talk for at least 2 – 3 hours.

-use ice pack frequently on the area

-after removing the gaze, have an Ice cream and cold drinks.

-drink the cold drink with glass and don’t use a drink straw

-don’t spitting for 24 hours

-avoid heavy sport and activity

-bleeding is normal in the first 24 hours but if it’s going severe then call the clinic.

-pain and swelling in for several days is normal

-use the prescription carefully.
